Who AM I?

A three-time winner and six-time nominee WhatsOnStage Award nominee, Darren has built a reputation for producing solo concerts and musicals in concert. His work as a published photographer brought him into the heart of the theatre world, and by 2015, he expanded his creative pursuits to producing. Specialising in showcasing Broadway and West End talent, Darren has produced concerts featuring some of the most celebrated names in musical theatre, including Patti LuPone at the Coliseum, Audra McDonald at the Palladium, Chita Rivera, Jeremy Jordan, Megan Hilty, Tituss Burgess, Shoshana Bean, Hannah Waddingham, Cynthia Erivo, Alan Cumming, Ariana DeBose, Michael Ball, Kelli O'Hara, Alex Newell, Sharon D. Clarke, Laura Benanti, Matthew Morrison, and Jamie Muscato.

Darren's production credits include the critically acclaimed Bonnie & Clyde in Concert, starring Jeremy Jordan and live captured for future release, with its cinematic premiere scheduled for 2025. Something Rotten! (WhatsOnStage Award winner) starred Jason Manford, Evita (nominated for a WhatsOnStage Award) featured Auli'i Cravalho, Oklahoma! starred Phil Dunster, and the WhatsOnStage Award-winning production of Love Never Dies in Concert starred Norm Lewis. Darren also produced Ariana DeBose's solo show and six UK appearances by Jeremy Jordan over 9 years, both of which were nominated for WhatsOnStage Awards.

In 2018, Darren presented Tori Amos's musical The Light Princess to critical acclaim, bringing back Olivier Award nominee Rosalie Craig in the eponymous role for a special one-off concert. In 2019 and 2020, Darren produced Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella and Zorro The Musical with musical all-star casts, both playing to sold-out audiences.

For Hire

We provide executive producing, general management, and production consultancy for high-end theatre and major live entertainment. When the stakes are high, we approach every project with a sharp creative eye, a calm head, and an industry contact book that rivals most agencies.

Led by Darren Bell, we specialise in executing one-night-only theatrical coups and historic milestones that set the gold standard for London's West End. We know exactly how to build a highly anticipated event, sell it out, and deliver it flawlessly. When the West End reopened post-pandemic, our production of Bonnie & Clyde in Concert was the very first event at the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane, firmly establishing the modern benchmark for musicals in concert.

Handling theatre royalty and global broadcasts requires absolute precision and discretion. We were trusted to produce Audra McDonald's spectacular cinematic capture at the London Palladium for PBS, and we secured and hosted the iconic Chita Rivera for her final UK performance. We successfully staged the award-winning UK premiere of Something Rotten! in Concert, and are currently producing the highly anticipated return of the WhatsOnStage Award-winning Love Never Dies in Concert as part of the historic Phantom of the Opera 40th Anniversary celebrations in October 2026.
